ABOUT ME
I’m Taylor Brown
I begin volunteering every summer and school breaks for various YMCA‘s , retirement centers and senior private homes at the age of 14. I started working as a senior transportation dispatcher for my family business at 16. I got employed full time at a Senior Living Facility and realized how passionate I was about taking care of seniors and veterans. I kept getting positive feedback from the residents, family and staff about my caring spirit and heartfelt support to them. I told my mother (Jennifer Brown) that I wanted to make a difference for seniors and awareness of all the various cancers taking our love ones from us. She said Awesome, let do it!! And Brownstone Senior Residential Care Home has finally began. Our goal is to open a home yearly for the next 5 years.
OUR VISION
Brownstone Senior Residential Care Home was formed after being caregiver for my grandmother (Ella Brown) and Aunt (Edna Barfield). After I volunteered at various senior centers I felt a lot of them felt lonely and isolated. I told my mom that I finally realized it was time to step up and take care of our senior population. Giving them a safe,independent, happy, positive living environment. Full of Love and Happiness . I want to make a BIG difference. Giving them my heart and soul. I came from hospitality power couple grandfather and grandmother, Emmett and Ella Brown. I heard all the wonderful stories about my grandfather who passed away when I was 4. I’m grateful I was given 16yrs with my awesome grandmother. I‘ve watched my mother take care of her friends, family, strangers and everyone in between. It in my BLOOD. Let’s make a difference.
